Figgy’s Heavenly Collection Blog Tour

I am so excited to share with you two patterns I have made from the new Heavenly collection by Figgy’s!  I have already made and posted about THIS Ethereal Tunic that I absolutely love so if you haven’t seen it yet go check it out!

For the Heavenly Tour, I decided I wanted to make another Ethereal but the top version as well as the Celestial Pullover. Both are awesome patterns and are quick sews with such a beautiful end result. I love patterns that are quick and simple and allow you to add your own flair if you want to.

For the Celestial Pullover, I decided to upcycle an old sweater of mine that I never wore. I cut the pattern on the sweater so that I could use the bottom band of the original sweater. I also reused the turtleneck collar of the old sweater for this new one. It was pretty fun to see something I used to wear now fit my daughter. I love the high low hem of this sweater. I paired it with a pair of wool shorts but my daughter has also worn it with leggings and boots as well. It’s definitely a must have for my little one’s closet!

For the Ethereal Top, I decided to use a plaid fabric I had left over from when I competed in Project Run and Play.  I did a 3/4 sleeve and made the top length.  I absolutely love the look of this top!  I think it looks so cute paired with shorts.  It is another must have!  I want one in my size!

I absolutely love all my patterns by Figgy’s.  Some of the very first pieces of clothing I ever made my girls were from Figgy’s patterns.  The instructions are so clear and easy to understand.  I have never had a problem trying to construct any of the garments.  Thank you, Shelly, for allowing me to participate on the Heavenly Blog Tour!  My girls thank you for their awesome new additions to their wardrobe

Figgy’s is having a HUGE giveaway so you want to be sure to check it out and enter HERE.
